It's not significant that the earthquake was felt in **huge list of countries**. These articles are meant to be read, and lists like these don't fit well in terms of the overall presentation of the article. Dawnseeker2000 05:56, 25 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
It is much better, as the article does, to summarize the area of effect in the lead paragraph and provide indicators of the extent in the body of the article. Here the article says "as far away as ...". You indicated that the quake was felt as far away as Odessa, and Tunis. If you have a citation for that in a reliable source, that would significantly increase the extent of the effect and could replace some of the end points now in the article. However, I could not find a reliable source for the quake being felt in either of those places. The citation that you provided did not go to an article entitled "Earthquake in southern Greece, felt in 21 countries, also in throughout Greece" when I tried it today. It went to a report entitled "The 8 January 2006 Earthquake (Mw 6.7) Offshore Kythira Island, Southern Greece: Seismological, Strong-motion, and Macroseismic Observations of an Intermediate-depth Event" which is already cited in the article. The Institute of Geodynamics (Athens), www.gein.noa.gr, is a reliable site. Their report did not mention the effect that you indicated. Was the article you cited in Greek? I could find no electronic trace of it. --Bejnar (talk) 19:29, 25 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
