Map inclusion edit

Map inclusion is a great idea for the pre-satellite era, like what was done with the first three storms. At least two more should be able to be added for the last couple storms, no? Thegreatdr (talk) 21:04, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

As I recall, for the three remaining storms the issue was either that the storm didn't come within range of the NOAA central library maps or there was simply nothing worth looking at on the surface analysis. I'll take another look, though. Juliancolton (talk) 21:09, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Found another source for decent surface maps. I'll upload them shortly. Thanks for the reminder/suggestion. Juliancolton (talk) 21:13, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Not a problem. Inconsistency can plague GAN/FAC candidates. Best to nip it in the bud early. At least for an article this old, there shouldn't be copyright restrictions on images included. Thegreatdr (talk) 21:14, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Understood. I got the maps for #s 4 and 5, but for TS 6 the most impressive map available consists of one broadly closed isobar. Would you say it's worth adding? Juliancolton (talk) 21:23, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
For consistency sake, yeah. It was a relatively weak tropical storm, so it's not going to look impressive. Thegreatdr (talk) 01:26, 2 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
