Contradiction edit

Why results in article and results in template are different? --Czarnybog (talk) 20:50, 2 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Which one(s) do you mean, specifically?—GoldRingChip 21:24, 2 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
    • In Infobox election Jacksonians won 26 seats, Anti-Jacksonians 20 and Nullifier 1. But in Results section Jacksonians won 22 seats, Anti-Jacksonians 24 and Nullifier 2. And I think I saw something simmilar on couple other US Senate elections articles. --Czarnybog (talk) 18:51, 20 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
      • The Results section is based on different data, sometimes the parties' count at the beginning of the first formal session, sometimes other. The Infobox, however, represents the parties's count at the beginning of the Congress, March 4 (or January 3, starting in 1935). The Results section, frankly should be fixed, and I've been skipping it as I've slowly updated these articles, starting at 1788/89 and now (as of today) 1872-73. I think, going forward, I'll also update the Results section.—GoldRingChip 01:25, 21 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
