We have a number of series of these pages. The England pages become the Great Britain pages in 1707, after the Kingdom of England came to an end. The Great Britain series comes to an end in 1800. Is there a point in creating such duplication, and how much of it would there be? Moonraker (talk) 23:30, 15 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Just come across this discussion when I discovered the error in 1707 in Great Britain: it has details about events prior to the creation of the state on May 1st. These should not be there as the article is about the state that begins life on May 1st. The only logical way forward to correct this anomaly is to have 1707 in England and include the details there.
