Focus is on only one topic. edit

More than 90% of the focus of this page is on fighting between the English colonists in America and the Native Americans. While this is of course an important part of Native American history, it seems reasonable to point out that there was clearly much more that occurred in history, world-wide, during this entire year; and yet nothing of it is mentioned. It seems pretty obvious that the article is intentionally-biased in a way to emphasize only the fighting in the colonies which occurred at that time involving the Native Americans. 69.127.82.225 (talk) 09:56, 4 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thirteen Colonies did not exist until 1732 edit

References to the Thirteen Colonies prior to 1732 are inaccurate unless indicating the establishment of these colonies. e.g. Carolina was chartered as one of the Thirteen Colonies in 1629 could be appropriate. Prior to 1732 it would be more accurate to refer to them as the British (or Dutch etc.) colonies or possibly the North American colonies. It is inaccurate to say that John Talbot exported Indians from the Thirteen Colonies in 1676. Perhaps, it would be more accurate to says he exported them out of those colonies (i.e. Connecticut and Rhode Island), there is no direct reference to clarify the extent of his work. {June 2021}
