editI don't know about England, but certainly in Scotland you need to let both the Police and local council know the route before they'll let you run the event. Ewan 13:04, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
In England only the police must be informed. They can then not disallow the event - it is purely for their information--90.197.192.168 01:53, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
