Update edit

(Note - I did not write the comment above and am not the author of the page.)

During November 2014, the 11 Signal Brigade amalgamated with the 143 (West Midlands) Regional Brigade (hitherto headquartered Copthorne Barracks, Shrewsbury) to form a larger formation called 11 Signal and West Midlands Brigade, expanding its remit from merely commanding communications to being also the British Army's regional brigade covering the West Midlands counties of England. Therefore, some statements on this page may be more accurately rendered in past tense and the existence of the 11 Signal Brigade indicated as closing in 2014 if a new article on the new amalgamated brigade is to be written. I may add information sourced from local newspapers.Cloptonson (talk) 19:46, 25 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi - I would not encourage the preparation of a new article. In my view it would be better if information sourced from local newspapers is added to this article (as you suggest). Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 14:10, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Hi - I have moved this article to "11th Signal Brigade and Headquarters West Midlands" to accurately reflect the new name. I am happy to hear any views to the contrary. Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 14:26, 31 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
