Swimming at the 1979 Pan American Games – Men's 200 metre freestyle

The men's 200 metre freestyle competition of the swimming events at the 1979 Pan American Games took place on 2 July at the Piscina Olimpica Del Escambron.[1] The last Pan American Games champion was Jorge Delgado of Ecuador.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
