Sophie Elizabeth Cunningham (born August 16, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Mercury of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).

As of December 15, 2022, Cunningham became a guest analyst for the Phoenix Suns Suns Live! pregame, halftime, and post-game TV coverage. [1][2]

College career edit

Cunningham played four seasons of college basketball at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri for the Tigers.[3] She is known to be one of the greatest to ever wear the uniform.

Phoenix Mercury (2019–) edit

Cunningham was selected as the thirteenth overall pick of the 2019 WNBA draft by the Phoenix Mercury.[4][5] Cunningham was the eighth Missouri alum to be drafted into the WNBA and was the highest selection for a former Tiger.
