At a time when there was little or no awareness about fashion or the idea of designer brands in India, Satya Paul introduced the idea of choreographed collections in 1985. The brand’s take on print innovations and use of vivid color palettes did not only change the way the consumer previously looked at Sarees but also developed a specific niche for concept-based designs and aesthetics.

With print as its DNA, the brand further evolved to include embellished and hand embroidered sarees. Going back to the roots with contemporary designs on Indian handwoven textiles and weaves which are produced indigenously is the heart and soul of every Satya Paul collection.

Brand PhilosophyEdit

With exemplary designs and a distinct take on print fabrications, Satya Paul created their own niche internationally, reflecting the tastes and aspirations of the wearers. Every Satya Paul print has a distinct personality with three elements playing a role interchangeably: Power, Pop, and Philosophy.

With compelling, dynamic and energetic concepts, the prints are powerful and polarizing, opening up a bold range of possibilities for the designs.

The vibrant popular culture of art, music, literature, and culture inspire the brand to create beautiful clothes and accessories that draw on youth, colour, and rebellion.

Satya Paul prints are born from thoughts, reflections, and opinions. Images of desire, struggle, hope, and transformation are woven in with care in strong expressive creations.

Satya Paul’s collections adhere to these three elements in all their designs empowered by the print. The company creates powerful prints that are a form of communication and inspiration drawn from the free-thinking modern women of today. The saree is the only dress that takes the shape of the woman who wears it; it is central to the company's design aesthetic. The collections also include a full line of women’s wear and a dedicated range of accessories including men’s corporate additions.
