Sarah van Aalen (born 21 January 2000 Wijchen ) is a Dutch volleyball player.[1]  After playing for several teams in the Netherlands, she played for USC Münster and USC Potsdam in Germany for four years. Since 2023, Van Aalen has played for the VakifBank Istanbul,[2] but since 2024 has been playing for the Italian Chieri '76 in the Serie A1.

Van Aalen also plays for the Dutch volleyball team. Van Aalen competed at the 2018 Volleyball Nations League. 2019 Volleyball Nations League, 2021 Volleyball Nations League, 2022 Volleyball Nations League, 2023 Volleyball Nations League, and 2024 Volleyball Nations League.[3] Van Aalen and her compatriots managed to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games.[4][5]
