What constitutes a key topic

Can we develop a set of general guidelines for what topics warrant inclusion here? I've just removed Space archeology, and admit this was largely based on "gut feel." It would be much better to have pointed to an established guideline as justification for the removal! (sdsds - talk) 04:34, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
