Procedure edit
The goal of this process is to get more articles related to Philadelphia up to Featured Article status. The nomination process here is a little more relaxed, but articles that meet the featured article requirements are more likely to gain support. The best way for an article to be selected is to make sure it is of high quality, appropriate length (especially the article's introduction section), and properly referenced. Articles of high quality will be selected first before lesser quality articles.
Nominating articles edit
- Find an article related to Philadelphia that you think is very good. It need not be a current Featured Article, but if it is, it could only help the nomination.
- If the article was previously nominated for featured status, or if it has been on peer review, try to resolve as many of the remaining objections as possible.
- In the nominations section below, add a third level section header with the linked page title as the section name (
=== [[Page title]] ===). Below this new header, add your reasons for nomination and sign your nomination with~~~~.

- Grumblethorpe, a mansion in Germantown, was the scene of events in the Battle of Germantown. While its owners were staying in another home, British General James Agnew occupied the house as his headquarters. He was wounded in the battle and died in the parlor, where his blood stains can still be seen on the floor.--BillFlis 22:05, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
