It is a contemporary film that addresses a highly debated topical subject related to “Triple Talaq,” a tradition of divorce in Islam initiated by uttering three words. This issue remains a frequent topic in social and media discussions, generating ongoing public debate. The film explores the controversial subject by highlighting the futility and negative consequences of the prevalent practice of Talaq, juxtaposing it with the social and religious perspectives on the tradition against modern societal norms. It aims to illustrate how the practice of "Triple Talaq" is often misinterpreted and manipulated for personal gain, overshadowing its intended ethical and religious context.

The film premiered at the Berlin Film Festival 2018[3] to a full audience and received a positive response. It was produced by Trinetra, Kanika, and Anshula Bajpai under their banner Kanika Multiscope (KMPL).
