Our Sisters-in-Law (French: Nos belles-sœurs) is a Canadian musical comedy film, directed by René Richard Cyr and released in 2024.[1] Adapted from Michel Tremblay's influential stage play Les Belles-sœurs, the film stars Geneviève Schmidt as Germaine Lauzon, a 1960s housewife in the Le Plateau-Mont-Royal district of Montreal who wins a million trading stamps in a sweepstakes; needing to paste them all into booklets to exchange for prizes, she invites many of her family and friends over for a "stamping party", only to face the petty jealousies of many of the participants.[2]
