Nuremberg is an upcoming American historical drama film written and directed by James Vanderbilt. It is based on the 2013 non-fiction book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist by Jack El-Hai. It stars Rami Malek, Russell Crowe, and Michael Shannon.

editThe movie depicts psychiatrist Douglas Kelley as he interviews Nazi prisoners to determine whether they are fit to stand trial.

Production
editIt was announced in December 2023 that James Vanderbilt was set to write and direct the film, with Rami Malek, Russell Crowe and Michael Shannon set to star.[1] Additional casting including Richard E. Grant, Leo Woodall, John Slattery and Colin Hanks was announced in January and February 2024.[2][3]
Filming began in Budapest in February 2024, and had wrapped by May 2024.[4][5]
