PlotEdit

Thirusherry Madhavan Vaidyar (Thilakan) is a well established Ayurvedic doctor in the village. He has two sons, Dr. Unnikrishnan (Siddique) and Kunjikrishnan (Srinivasan). Siddique is studying medicine while Srinivasan hasn't studied beyond 2nd standard. Srinivasan is in love with Devyani who is the daughter of Janardhanan. But she loves Siddique and is promised to him in marriage. When Srinivasan comes to know this he leaves the village and comes back as a fraud holy man who practices Ayurvedic medicine. His assistant Jagathy and he fools the villagers with regular medicine after ruining the practice of his brother Siddique. Janardhan, a greedy man now wishes to marry his daughter to Srinivasan. The movies takes interesting turns from here on.
