Khushal Peroz was an Afghan Army general who served in the 444th Commando Battalion during the Kingdom of Afghanistan and the Republic of Afghanistan, taking part in the 1973 Afghan coup d'état.[1] Starting from 1988, he also served as the Chief of Intelligence in the Afghan National Guard in the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan and fought during the Battle of Jalalabad in 1989.[1][2]
