Keegan Daniel Jelacic (Croatian: Jelačić Croatian pronunciation: [jělatʃitɕ]; born 31 July 2002) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for A-League club Brisbane Roar on loan from the Belgian club Gent.[2]

Club career edit

On 30 May 2023, Jelacic signed a three-year contract with Gent.[3] On 14 August 2023, he was loaned to the Norwegian club Stabæk until the end of 2023.[4] In January 2024, he returned to Australia to join Brisbane Roar on loan until the end of the season.[5]

International career edit

Jelacic was born in Australia to a Croatian father and New Zealand mother.[6] He has previously represented New Zealand at youth level. On 7 March 2023, he was called up for the Australia U-23 team.[7]
