Kallidendro (Greek: Καλλίδενδρο) is a former municipality in the Trikala regional unit, Thessaly, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Trikala, of which it is a municipal unit.[2] The municipal unit has an area of 21.833 km2.[3] Population 1,956 (2021). The seat of the municipality was in Valtino. The name of the municipality comes from the greek words καλόν, kalòn + δέντρον, dendron, meaning "nice tree" for the numerous forests of the area.
