Jim Siizer (born Nsobya James on 20 June 2004) is a Ugandan recording artist, songwriter, record producer and actor from Lot Fire Records,[1] a record label based in Uganda, East Africa. He is one of the members of the Ugandan music group More Tyme collaborating with Bx On Da Beat (real name Ben Sserwadda).[2][3] He sings in Luganda, English and sometimes mixes with Kiswahili. His professional realm of music genre is afrobeats, hip hop, dancehall, reggae, and RnB.[4] His musical journey started back in 2018 when he started out at MS management, a musical management owned by a businessman from Mubende.

Early life and education background edit

Jim Siizer was born on 20 June, 2004 in Kassanda, central Uganda to Ssaabwe Ezra and the late Nakiwala Catherine. He attended Ssempera Memorial Primary School, which is located in Kassanda town. He was admitted to Forest Peas High School, Kikandwa for his O-Level education. He later joined Bright Future Academy, located in Bulaga, for his A-Level education. He has recently completed a Diploma in Civil engineering at Bugema University.[4]

Career edit

He started dabbling in music in his primary classes and was the school choir leader. His professional music career started in 2020 with his first song "Kuyo" (feat. Abdul Nyugunya), which was recorded at Plan-B Records, during Covid-19 lock-down in Uganda.[4] He sings inspirational and advocacy songs, and his most famous song being "Biri wansi".[5]
