Controversy
editIn May 2024, Fishback sued his former employer, Greenlight Capital for defamation in a row over his job title.[3] Fishback claimed he worked as “head of macro” at the hedge fund.[3] He claimed that in the two-and-a-half years he worked at the hedge fund, he got promoted twice; first from research analyst to trader and then to "head of macro", having generated a total $100 million in profits for the firm during his work with them.[13] But Greenlight Capital claimed that position never existed.[1]
