Finlay "Finn" Ashworth (born 18 September 2005) is a Welsh footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Career
editBorn in Wolverhampton, Ashworth came through the Wolverhampton Wanderers academy, joining as an 8-year-old.[4] He signed his first professional contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers on 3 July 2024.[4]
Prior to signing his deal, Ashworth featured for Wolverhampton Wanderers U21 in the EFL Trophy Group stage game against Notts County in September 2023, coming on as an 88th-minute substitute for Owen Farmer.[5]
On 3 September 2024, almost a year after his first appearance in the EFL Trophy, Ashworth played 95 minutes against Port Vale - being replaced by Hayden Carson. Port Vale went onto win the Penalty shoot-out however.[6]
International career
editAshworth has represented Wales squads at various youth levels which include, Wales under-16 and Wales under-17.[7][8]
Personal life
editHe is the son of former West Bromwich Albion and current Manchester United sporting director Dan Ashworth and his older brother Zac Ashworth currently plays for Blackpool.[9]
