Locomotive à vapeur sur voie de 60, type 020T Decauville type "Progrès" nouveau modèle au Chemin de fer des Chanteraines

Cette machine a une plaque latérale : N°869 - Société nouvelle des établissements DECAUVILLE AINE - Corbeil - S&O

Elle a été construite en 1914 à Corbeil et livrée le 09/02/1914 à la Société Anonyme des Hauts Fourneaux Forges et Aciéries Denain et Anzin (Nord).

Son écartement était alors de 765 mm, comme pour les 870 et 871 qui avaient les mêmes spécifications.

La chaudière porte le n°5325 a été éprouvée la première fois 15/04/1913. La médaille, en cuivre frappé, est encore sur la chaudière.

Ensuite, on la retrouve entre 1930 et 1970 dans l'entreprise de travaux publics Blanchard à Agen où elle participa à la construction de l'aérodrome de Limoges. Vendue en adjudication en 1971, elle quitte le Lot-et-Garonne pour le parc de Risle Vallée dans l'Eure. Acquise par un particulier en 82, elle arrive au CFC en Mars 2001, où elle retrouve son timbre d'origine, après deux ans de restauration.

Cette machine est classée Monument Historique.
