Español: Coro: Exalta dos aspectos geográficos prominentes del territorio: el Cerro Autana, y los raudales que presenta el Orinoco a lo largo de su cauce.

Primera estrofa: Rinde homenaje al Mariscal Antonio José de Sucre, prócer de la patria, y héroe epónimo de la batalla de Ayacucho, nombre dado a la capital del Estado.

Segunda estrofa: Canta a la geografía del sur, donde está la Sierra Parima, manantial del Orinoco. Exalta la bondad de Dios manifestada por la variedad de peces que sirven de alimento a los pobladores de la región.
