Founded in Lake Meade, East Berlin, Adams County, Pennsylvania by Steve Spangler, the Unforgettable Big Band plays jazz standards from the Great American Songbook, as well as arrangements adapted for big band of popular, rock, and country.
Based currently in York, York County, Pennsylvania, the band rehearses at First Presbyterian Church in downtown York. They play at a variety of events locally[1][2][3] and across the Mid-Atlantic region.
The band has won two awards. In 2019, the band won the award for Best Ensemble at the inaugural Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame (CPMHoF) awards ceremony[4]. In 2021, the band won the Cover-to-Cover award for their song titled "Fighter" which was created to benefit the Four Diamonds Fund[5].
