editOn September 30, 2024, FX gave production an 11-episode series order. The series is based on The Beauty, a comic book written by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley. It is created by Ryan Murphy and Matt Hodgson who are expected to executive produce alongside Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, Nissa Diederich, and Eric Gitter. Production companies involved with the series are 20th Television and Ryan Murphy Television.[1]
Casting
editUpon series order announcement, Peters, Ramos, Pope, and Ashton Kutcher were cast in starring roles.[1]
