Steve Gilliland (born Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American author, comedian, and media host who penned six books focused on personal career development and well-being. His most well know published books are entitled "Detour, Enjoy The Ride," "Hide Your Goat, Making a Difference," and "The Cherry on Top and Turn the Page."[1] He is also heard daily on SiriusXM Radio’s Laugh USA and Jeff & Larry’s Comedy Roundup.[2]

Gilliland was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, lives in Mocksville, North Carolina. He graduated from Butler High School (PA) and received his bachelor’s degree from Grove City College (PA). He is a grandfather, father of four boys and husband. Gilliland credits his passion for people and a commitment to a hard-work and balanced-life ethic from his principled Christian mother and stepfather.
