editSportyBet was founded by Sudeep Dalamal Ramnani in 2013 under the company of Sporty Group.[5] The online gambling company is one of the most leading sport betting website and app in Africa.[6][7][8] On the 12 of May 2024 a viral video was made by a Nigerian man calling out the betting platform for not realising his money.[9]

editIn March 2022, SportyBet announces it's partnership deal with the football team, Real Madrid.[10] [11][12] Later in the year 2023, Oluchi Enuha who was the Sporty Group’s brand director announces another partnership deal with the football team Manchester City F.C..[13][14] The company also renewed their partnership contract with the former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien.[15]
