History

edit

Foundation of New Skegness FC and Skegness

edit

Skegness was founded in early of 2023 by Mohammed Zahid as New Skegness FC. The name of the club is a reference to the seaside town of Skegness, which has gained a significant reputation in the United Kingdom as a "Lad's Holiday" destination. Initially, as New Skegness FC, the teams colours were Pink and White.

Soon after it's founding, the club simplified its name to Skegness.

Club Identity

edit

The club has deep rooted connections to the cultures of the islands of Jamaica and Malta, contributing to the teams nicknames of the Three Little Birds and the Blu-Roża. The Club is also known as The Jolly Fishermen

Colours and Badge

edit

In a nod to the town of Skegness' nautical history, the club adopted Navy as its home colour, retaining the historic Pink and White as accents on both the kit and badge.

This association with the sea was implemented into the badge design, incorporating the clubs colours and a boat, an important part of the local culture of Skegness.
