Draft:Sinisha Nisevic

Sinisha Nisevic (pronounced Sinisha Nishevitch) is a Croatian filmmaker.

Early life

Nisevic was born in Zagreb, Croatia. He first came to Los Angeles at age 17, where he studied film and photography. Nisevic wrote and directed his first feature film, Reflections, with Francesco Quinn and Marisol Padilla Sanchez in the leading roles. The film credits also included Wim Wenders as honorary art director.

Career

Nisevic wrote, produced and directed a short film campaign for Luxottica/ Oliver Peoples featuring Hollywood producer Robert Evans. Following this Evans asked him to direct a feature film titled The Stranger at the Palazzo D’Oro based on the short story by Paul Theroux. Approved by Theroux himself, Nisevic’s screenplay adaptation is now in pre-production.

After splitting his time between Europe and the United States, Sinisha moved to Milan on the invitation from Donatella Versace to become the Art Director for Versace, where he spent two years conceptualizing and shooting for Versace.[1] As a photographer, his fashion work has been published in Vogue Italia, Vogue France, Vogue Nippon,[2] Vogue Hommes International, L'Uomo Vogue among others.[3]
