editShubham Shinde was born on 23 June 1995 in Sangli, Maharashtra, India. He comes from a kabaddi family, with his father and brother also playing the sport. He started playing kabaddi at a young age and honed his skills in local tournaments.[1] [2]
Career
editShinde began his professional career in the 2018 Pro Kabaddi League with the Puneri Paltan. He quickly established himself as a valuable asset to the team, playing both as a right corner defender and a raider. His strong presence in the defense and his ability to score crucial points in raids made him a key player for the Paltan.[1] [2]
In 2021, Shinde was picked up by the Patna Pirates. He continued to excel in his dual role, contributing significantly to the team's defensive unit and earning the title of "Most Successful Tackles" for the season.[1] [2]
Currently, Shinde plays for the Bengal Warriors. He remains a versatile player, showcasing his defensive prowess and impressive raiding skills.
