Saweiq is a kind of fried flour food; Like the flour that is roasted to prepare halva. The roasted flour of whole grains and legumes is called Suwayq.
The word "Swayq" or "Swayq" is Arabic, which was called "Pest/Paste" in old Persian. The same Persian word is used in the book "Khwarazmshahi Repository" which was written in Persian language in the beginning of the 6th century of Hijri.
