Polfarmex SA is a Polish pharmaceutical company based in Kutno. Products include prescription drugs, over the counter drugs, dietary supplements and cosmetics.
History
editThe company was founded under the name "Polfa-Farmex" in 1989, and originally traded in medicines and imported raw materials. Construction of a factory in the Kutno industrial district began in 1994 and the name was charge to "Polfarmex". From 1996-1998, registers were obtained for 30 new preparations. In 2001, the company was changed from a limited liability company to a joint-stock company. From 2011-2012, a high-bay warehouse was built at the Kutno plant.[1]
Activities
editPolfarmex's activities include the manufacture of solid and liquid medicines as well as the packaging of medicines.[2] Alongside availability in the domestic market, Polfarmex products are available in Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Finland, Estonia, Georgia, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia and Vietnam.[3]

editSince 2012, Polfarmex has been a sponsor of the Polfarmex Kutno team playing in the Polish Basketball League.
