Pier 88 is a seaport in Liloan, Cebu, Philippines. It facilitiates connections between Camotes Islands, Cebu Port, Port of Lapu Lapu and others.

Liloan, Cebu, has a rich history in maritime activities, with its strategic location fostering regional sea trade and travel. The idea to construct Pier 88 was proposed to meet the burgeoning demands of inter-island transport , enhance commerce, and promote local tourism. The project was approved and construction of the Pier began in late 2022.[1] After several months of tireless work by engineers, architects, and laborers, Pier 88 was successfully completed. It was officially inaugurated in a grand ceremony held on May 27, 2023, graced by local government officials, stakeholders, and members of the public. The event marked a significant milestone in the maritime history of Liloan and the Cebu province as a whole.

Pier has multiple berths for passenger ferries and cargo ships, a large terminal building with customs and immigration offices, and warehousing facilities for goods. The passenger terminal includes a waiting area, ticketing counters, retail and food outlets, as well as lounging spaces.

Pier 88 serves as a departure point for various ferry routes connecting Liloan, Cebu, to other destinations in the Philippines. Some of the popular ferry routes from Pier 88 include: Liloan, Cebu to Ormoc City, Leyte[2] Liloan, Cebu to Tagbilaran City, Bohol[3] Liloan, Cebu to Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental[4] Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, and there may be additional ferry routes operating from Pier 88.

Since its inauguration Pier 88 has emerged as a crucial transportation hub connecting Liloan, Cebu, with the rest of the Central Visayas and beyond. It facilitates the easy movement of people and goods across the region, supporting local economies and promoting tourism. Furthermore, Pier 88 is seen as a catalyst for economic growth[5] and development in the Liloan area and the province of Cebu. It has provided numerous job opportunities and boosted local businesses, contributing significantly to the region's socio-economic development.
