The Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture (NDPC) is an international networking platform and funding provider. It focuses on improving operational conditions for the creative and cultural sector, bridging the gap between various sources of funding, sectors of activity, and strengthening cooperation between project owners, business communities, the public sector, and international institutions throughout the Northern Dimension (ND) region.^[1]

NDPC was established in 2010 as fourth partnership in the Northern Dimension Policy; its secretary is based in Riga, and its members are the European Commission and the ministries responsible for culture in Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, and Sweden.

Ukraine is an observer country of the NDPC as of June 2024.^[2]

Activities

The Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture describes its mission as: "to enhance the strategic role of the culture and creative sector in sustainable development across the region." ^[3] NDPC has the flexibility to closely collaborate with both public and private organizations, establishing new initiatives and forming broader alliances, and implementing its strategy through project activities with 60+ project partners from all over Europe.
