On 9 November 1989, a Sikorsky S-61A-4 Nuri helicopter operated by the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) crashed near Mount Gerah in Perak, Malaysia. It is the deadliest aviation accident to have occurred within the RMAF and the deadliest helicopter crash in Malaysian history.
