Mangai (transl. Woman) is an Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Gubenthiran Kamatchi[1] in his directorial debut. The film stars Anandhi and Dushyanth Jayaprakash[2] in the lead roles with Adhithya Kathir and Shivin Ganesan portraying supporting roles.The film is produced by A R Jaffer Sadiq under the banner of JSM Pictures.[3] Originally scheduled to release on 1 March 2024, its release has since been delayed indefinitely due to the producer's legal troubles.

editThe film was shot across Munnar and Pooparai in Kerala, Theni, Cumbum, Kudalur, and Chennai.[4]
Release
editThe film was scheduled to be released on 1 March 2024. However its release was delayed indefinitely after its producer was convicted of drug smuggling and money laundering, with this film being financed through his drug money.[5]
