Mármol de Salcido is a town located in the Mexican municipality of Mazatlán, Sinaloa. It has a population of 562 inhabitants.[1] It is located 32 kilometers northwest of Mazatlán. Its main economic activity was to industrialize the limestone resources that abound in the area. There was a cement factory that operated from 1945 to 1990. Currently the town is in decline, depending mainly on agriculture and livestock.[2]
