"Last Day of Summer" is the 48th broadcast episode and final episode of the fourth season of Phineas and Ferb, the 222nd episode broadcast episode overall, and the finale of the first run. It was simulcast on Disney Channel and Disney XD on June 12, 2015 and was viewed by 2.94 million people.[1] Originally serving as the series finale, the characters would later appear in the creators' subsequent series Milo Murphy's Law and Hamster & Gretel, and a Disney+ film Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe, before being renewed for two more seasons in 2023.[2]
