Early Life and Career

Devokeyous was born in Cordele, Georgia and partially-raised in Clayton County, Georgia, and is currently residing in Cordele. He has been making music since 2018, with his first EP titled 4zzz being released on June 5, 2019.[5]

He is known for his unique style of poorly mixed vocals on beats heavy with distorted 808s. He has released songs such as “Out of Bounds,” “Asian Rock,” and "Really Whats Goin". His debut studio album, Injoy, was released on March 13, 2024. Songs such as “awsum” and “injoyable” were the highlight songs for the project.[6][7]

Recognition

He gained popularity in the underground rap scene in early 2024 with his song “Asian Rock”. Other songs such as “Tony Dim,” and “Treacherous,” which were previously released in late 2023, started to blow up on social media platforms, further boosting LAZER’s success.
