Kedarkheda is a village in Bhokardan taluka of Jalna district in Marathwada region of Indian state of Maharashtra.
Geography
editKedarkheda is situated on the bank of Purna River (tributary of Godavari). The river flows from west to east in the north direction of village. Jalna-Bhokardan road passes through the village. Bhokardan is 15 km and Jalna is 35 km away from Kedarkheda.
Temple
editShri Kedarnath Maharaj Temple is the main temple of the village. The temple is just next to the bazaar road. Kedarnath Maharaj idol situated inside the temple. Every year a fair is held here for Gudi Padwa. Devotees from the village as well as surrounding areas visit here. It is believed that the name of the village Kedarkheda is derived from Kedarnath Maharaj.
