Joseph Baba Aye (born 1 January 1939) was an Ivorian footballer who played as a midfielder and coached for Ligue 2 club Africa Sports d'Abidjan.[1]

Early life

Joseph Baba Aye was born in Zegreboué, Côte D’IVOIRE (Ivory Coast) and worked at Chu De Treichville Hospital until he became a footballer Africa Sports d'Abidjan.

Career

Joseph played for Africa Sports d'Abidjan for his entire career. During his time as a player, his team went on to win the French West African Cup during the 1957/1958 Season. He became a coach at the time during his senior career, which developed into a presidential role for the team.[2]
