Biography

edit

Peterburs was born on November 25, 1925, in St. Paul, Minnesota. His father was born in Germany and later came to the U.S.A. First plan was that Peterburs should become a priest and got the education for that profession. This plan stopped because he got in touch with his girl friend named Josephine.[2]

In 2005 Peterburs met his opponent in the end of war, Walter Schuck, in person during a visit of Schuck to the US.[3] They became friends until Walter Schuck passed away in 2015.[4]
