Janina Traczykówna (16 May 1930 Kłodawa – 22 January 2022 Warsaw) was a Polish actress. In 1978, she was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. She was also awarded the Gold Cross of Merit and the Medal of the 40th Anniversary of People's Poland.[1]

Life

In 1953, she graduated from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art .[2] She was associated with theatres in Szczecin and Warsaw. For her role as a mother in Day of the Wacko, she was nominated for the Polish Film Award.

She married the actor Witold Skaruch.

She died on 22 January 2022 in Warsaw.[3][4] She was buried in her husband's grave at the parish cemetery in Skolimów.[5]
