Jacob Norris is a 3D artist and business owner known for his contributions of tutorials alongside various entertainment content including games and cinema.[1] Norris is currently the President and Creative Director of Sierra Division, a creative studio he co-founded specializing in digital art content creation.[2] His career spans several roles at leading studios, as well as being the Art Director of PurePolygons.[3]

Jacob Norris is also known as PurePolygons. Under this moniker, he has shared tutorials and artworks within the 3D community.​[3] Norris was credited for creating technology that allowed for having procedurally generated nature environments in Unreal Engine 4.[4]

Norris was an Environment Texture Artist, where he worked on titles such as 'Uncharted 4',[7] 'Resistance 3'.[8] He credits his time at Naughty Dog as one of the greatest learning and growing experiences in his career, citing the immense talent at the studio and the passion that everyone had.[1]
