Ike Thierry Zaengel is a businessman and international advisor, the president and owner[1] of Debreceni VSC (DVSC),[2] first division football club in Hungary. He began his career in the entertainment industry in 1989 and continued as a communication consultant, producer and presenter, working and cooperating with various international companies. Ike Thierry Zaengel's portfolio includes names, such as KIIS FM Los Angeles,[3] MTV USA International and Radio RDS.[4]
From 2002 on, Ike Thierry Zaengel has worked in the investment business, holding positions at firms in the Middle East, Colony Capital LLC,[5] Q.I.A Qatar Investment Authority[6] and CCI Capital Hong Kong, His portfolio includes clients, such as Harrod's London, Miramax Film, Colony Capital&Paris Saint-Germain F.C., Accor Hotel Group, Porto Cervo and much more. During his tenure, the Middle Eastern firm's Group Operations value was over €600 million. He has been a close advisor to multiple members of Middle East royal families since 2002.
He started his career in the football world at Paris Saint-Germain in 2006, where he worked until 2011. In 2021, Paris FC was the next stop for Ike Thierry Zaengel, shortly after which he became the president of ACR Siena 1904. From 2022, he is the president and owner of Debreceni VSC.
