Hocus Pocus 3 is a planned American fantasy comedy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures. It will be sequel to the 2022 film Hocus Pocus 2 and the third installment in the Hocus Pocus franchise.

editIn October 2022, executive producer Adam Shankman stated that the storyline involving Becca's allows for future projects, including potential spinoffs.[1] By February 2023, Bette Midler stated that while nothing is official she was open to returning in a sequel.[2][3] Kathy Najimy, Sarah Jessica Parker, Belissa Escobedo, Lilia Buckingham as well as the original film stars Omri Katz, Vinessa Shaw, and Jason Marsden each expressed interest in returning for a third installment.[4][5][6]
In June 2023, Sean Bailey, president of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, confirmed that a third film is in the works and that is planned for a release on Disney+.[7][8] The same month, it was reported that director Anne Fletcher and writer Jen D'Angelo were set to return.[9] In October 2023, D'Angelo confirmed that work on the story had already begun.[10]
