Draft:HeadAche (UK Rock Band)

  • Comment: Removing one poor source doesn't make the subject more likely to pass NBAND or GNG. Perhaps the editor should actually look at those notability guidelines. Drmies (talk) 16:21, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
  • Comment: Band passes none of the requirements in WP:NBAND or WP:GNG, and the draft obviously needs some work. Facebook should never be used as a source, and ""Log in or sign up to view". www.facebook.com. Retrieved 2024-05-01." is not going to work as a reference. Drmies (talk) 15:40, 1 May 2024 (UTC)

HeadAche is a British rock band formed in England, in 2015. Their musical style has been described by commentators as pop-punk, punk rock and 'punk-metal'.[1][2] The band's stylistic/musical influences include Michael Jackson, blink-182, Jay-Z, Fugazi and "Weird Al" Yankovic.[3]

History edit

HeadAche was formed in England on the 1st of January 2015, by guitarist/vocalist Michael Button and vocalist/guitarist Johnny Bannister.[4] The duo immediately began writing music and soon recruited drummer Joshua "Eduardo" Rooney and bassist Gregory "Gregzi" Conlin, completing HeadAche's original lineup. Their debut self titled EP 'HeadAche' was released on the 12th of February 2015.[5]

In early 2016, Conlin departed the band and was replaced by bassist Jay Majer, whilst Rooney was replaced by drummer Leon Parsons. On the 5th of January 2017 HeadAche released their debut album 'The HeadAche LP'.[6][7][8] To support the release the band toured extensively, performing concerts at prestigious music venues in London, such as Dublin Castle and The Hope and Anchor.[9]

In 2018 the band recorded their second EP entitled 'BrainPain' produced by legendary producer Andy J. Davies.[10] The EP was released on the 6th of November 2018.[11][1][2][12]

In 2021 following a music hiatus, HeadAche began experimenting with electronic music, incorporating elements of hip hop and R&B into their songs. The second HeadAche album 'SpacePunk' was released on the 3rd of May 2022.[3][13]
