Finding Miss Almond is an upcoming film directed by Mark Webber (actor) telling the story of Isabel and Percy McDonald Smith's mission to help Aboriginal children in Australia's outback through their work at St Francis House. The film was inspired by the book A Life with the Lid Off by Sister Eileen Heath which contained an interview of Isabel Smith (nee Almond).[1]

The children of St Francis House were Indigenous Australian boys, many of whom had gone on to become academics, activitists and successful atheletes. Their impact spreading across multiple generations of Autralians.
